Frank Fortunato
CEO
Frank Fortunato co-founded CATEX in 1994 and is its Chief Executive Officer. He formerly served as a Legislative Counsel in the New Jersey Governor’s Office specializing in insurance matters and worked on insurance-related issues for the Energy & Commerce Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives. He is an attorney and has a graduate degree in History from the University of Pennsylvania. He is licensed as a producer in respect of property, casualty and surplus lines and as a reinsurance intermediary by the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance.
Ritesh Patel
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Ritesh Patel has over 27 years of experience in the IT sector. He has been with CATEX since 2022, with previous roles at Silver Touch Technologies Limited, his leadership has been pivotal in shaping innovations in enterprise applications and AI-driven solutions. Ritesh’s extensive expertise extends to complex national projects, underscoring his commitment to excellence in IT and operations and dedication to cutting-edge solutions.
Michael Michaud
Director of Product Development
Michael J. Michaud is responsible for leading the research of new features and product redesign of the software platform. He works closely with other department heads to establish development priorities to meet company goals. He has been with CATEX since 2001 and is a graduate of Rider University.
Stephanie A. Fucetola
Head of Client Services
Stephanie A. Fucetola is Senior Vice President at CATEX. She has been with CATEX since 2005. She is a graduate of Drexel University. She was previously employed at SB1 Federal Credit Union in Philadelphia. She is responsible for Client Services with a focus on Project Management, Implementation and Training.
Tom Bailey
Chairman of UK
Tom Bailey is Chairman of CATEX UK. His career in the insurance industry has encompassed broking, underwriting, technology and operations including insurance and reinsurance broking with Sedgwick, Sedgwick re and Guy Carpenter. He has been with CATEX since 2004. Tom is ACII qualified and is a Chartered Insurer. He is Commodore of Lloyd’s Yacht Club, a qualified Yachtmaster and speaks English and French.
Shane Hopper
Client Service Delivery Manager
Shane Hopper is the Client Service Delivery Manager. He has been with CATEX since 2017 and has over 20 years of client delivery experience. He previously worked at Aon. He is responsible for the CATEX delivery and day to day client service.
Adam Steinberg
Senior Business Analyst
Adam joined CATEX in 2019 following four years working within the Lloyds market with a focus on Catastrophe Modelling and Underwriting. As a senior business analyst, he works with clients to ensure their business requirements are fully considered and developed to specification. Adam has a specific focus on CATEX’s Data Vera for Exposure Management product, working with our developers to drive it’s direction and enhancements.
Srini Sirandasu
Data Management & Analytics
Srini Sirandasu works on the Data analytics and Exposure management features of the software platform. He has previously worked in Allied World Reinsurance, JP Morgan & AIG. He has been with CATEX since 2016 and has MS degree from Northern Illinois University.
Vincent Farina
Data Management
Vincent Farina has been with CATEX since 1998, after receiving a BS degree in computer science from The College of New Jersey. He is on the database team focusing on database development and design for the software platform
Frank Mazzeo
Infrastructure & Security
Frank J. Mazzeo III is the head of Infrastructure at CATEX and has been with the company since 2004. He is a graduate of Rider University with a BA in Information Systems. He is responsible for CATEX’s infrastructure at their hosting facilities and offices.
