In addition to CATEX software solutions for the insurance and reinsurance industry, CATEX also offers software consulting services. These services are offered primarily as an additional service in connection with the license of one of our systems. We assist clients with reviewing their business practices and advising them on how best to utilize our software solutions to their best possible advantage.

We have found, in many cases, that as part of the process of upgrading an organization’s software systems, licensees of our systems determine that their business practices may benefit from changes to take advantage of the power available to them with our products. Often, client’s business practices are found to not adequately capture all of the data which our systems can store and process. In addition, clients often determine that with access to our systems, they may be able to enhance their underwriting, claims and management information systems.

In many cases, clients make the decision to take advantage of our years of experience with reinsurance and insurance data processing. In such cases, we are asked to review work flows, business practices and desired management information reporting solutions in order to provide clients with recommendations in order for clients to take full advantage of our systems.
