The flagship CATEX product is its suite of Pivot Point Transaction Systems. The system is configurable in three distinct sets of parameters permitting it to be customized to brokers, risk bearers or MGA's. Each Pivot Point Transaction System is licensed with the CATEX Mosaic Reporting System that allows for the creation of "real time" data reports by an individual user.

Pivot Point is an ideal vehicle for the operation of an Exchange system. The web based nature of the system and the centralized control of user access and user roles allows a single licensee to open its system up to parties in the risk placement process via the extra-net built into each Pivot Point system.

Pivot Point may be licensed as a service by reinsurance or commercial brokers; reinsurers; and managing agents. The systems are hosted at SAS-70 compliant facilities worldwide and CATEX warrants a 99.99% availability average for system access 365 days a year. The system is supported 24/7.

CATEX has contractual support arrangements in place with several of the world’s largest IT hardware and software support companies. These relationships allow CATEX to provide guaranteed support and back-up to any of its licensed systems anywhere in the world. Because of the strength of these arrangements we can contractually guarantee our support services and our systems.

More importantly, these support arrangements permit the core CATEX IT development teams in Princeton and London to focus exclusively on the design and development aspects of the Pivot Point Transaction Systems. This concentration has enabled our closely knit group of very experienced IT professionals to have gained unrivaled experience in the implementation of the Pivot Systems in all facets of reinsurance and commercial insurance.
